Sister Isabel Hyde
My name is Isabel Hyde, I qualified as a Registered Nurse in 1981. I have
worked in General Practice since 1990 and at New Road since 1999. I have
a special interest in all aspects of minor illness and specialise in
Family planning, including coil and implant fitting. I also lead and
manage the nursing team.
Sister Christine Cross
I am Christine Cross. I qualified as a RGN in 1981. I have worked in
Primary Care for the past 12 years and qualified as a Nurse
Practitioner in 2002. I joined New Road Surgery in April 2004 and have special
interests in minor illness management. I am a nurse prescriber and i am
also qualified in asthma and family planning. I also run a regular Cryo
Clinic.
Theresa
Fowler
My name is Theresa Fowler, I trained at Dudley Road Hospital and qualified
as a registered nurse in 1977. I joined New Road Surgery in 1989 and have a
special interest in diabetes, family planning and womens health.
Anne Roberts
I am a Registered Nurse who has worked at the practice for over two
years. I work in the treatment room and do a variety of procedures
including dressings, vaccinations, ear syringing and general health
checks.
Nichola Mushen
My
name is Nichola Mushen.I qualified as a nurse in 1987 and joined the
I specialise in respiratory (asthma and COPD) and INR/warfarin dosing.
My main hobby outside of work is horse riding.
Linda Clarke
My name is Linda Clarke. I qualified as a Registered General Nurse in 1994.
I worked in acute care hospitals and for the National Blood Transfusion Service before
joining NRS as a treatment room nurse in 2004.
Sarah Follis
My name is Sarah Follis, I have been nursing since I started my training back in 1983.
I joined the practice in Sept 2002 and haven't looked back since! I now specialise in cardiovascular
disease and hypertension so this is the main bulk of my work. I work part time as I have a family to run including
3 children and when I get time I enjoy running, badminton, mountain walking- especially in the Lakes -
and piano playing. Sometimes I sing too, but not all at once! This year's highlight (so far) has been
successfully completing (as a novice) the Flora London marathon.
Jayne Watson
My name is Jayne Watson. I joined the practice in February 2006 as a
Healthcare Assistant. My job involves mainly taking bloods and doing
ECGs. I hope to be able to extend my role in the future and take on more
responsibilities and care for patients.
Jan Smaylen
My name is Jan Smaylen. I recently joined the practice as a Healthcare
Assistant. My primary job is performing blood tests, blood pressure
checks and spirometry for patients, and assisting the Nursing Team. I
am new to the Health Service as my previous jobs were not health-related.
