APPOINTMENTS

We offer telephone and face to face appointments with doctors and nurse practitioners each day. We have a flexible system where appointments can be booked in advance or on the day of need and we actively encourage continuity of care by your case being handled by an individual clinician where possible.

For callers before 10:15am we offer the facility for a doctor to call back for a telephone consultation.

INTERNET BOOKING

Pre-bookable doctor appointments are available to book on-line. This means that appointments can be made from home, thus avoiding the need to telephone the surgery. Please ask at Reception for details of how to register to use this service.

TELEPHONE CONSULTATIONS

The doctors and nurses are happy to consult on the telephone and give advice on minor ailments, which may save you a visit to the surgery. Ring the surgery during normal surgery hours. If the doctor is not available they will ring you back as soon as they are free.

Home Visits

If possible please try to telephone reception before 10am if you require a home visit.

A doctor or nurse may phone you back as it may be that your problem can be dealt with by telephone advice, or that it would be more appropriate to send a nurse, or indeed arrange a hospital attendance.

House visits are only available for patients who are housebound because of illness or disability.

Please remember that several patients can be seen in the practice in the time that it takes to make one home visit. There are also better facilities for examining and treating patients at the practice.
