A message from Dr Dowley who retires Thursday 14th September.
Thank you for all the kind messages, cards and gifts. I feel very lucky to have had such a nice list of patients for so many years and wish all of you all the very best for the future. As I keep saying - you'll all be much better off with younger doctors who can actually remember things!
Dr William Dowley
IMPORTANT CHANGES TO THE WAY YOU WILL BOOK YOUR APPOINTMENTS.
From Monday 17th July the way we offer appointments will be changing. We currently ask patients to call on the day for non urgent routine appointments, but from Monday, you will only be seen on the day if it is deemed urgent.
Non urgent routine appointments will be released at various times throughout the week. This will eliminate the need for patients to call at 08.30 to get an appointment.
We do expect the phone lines may still be busy for the first few days, especially Monday, until patients get used to the new way of booking.
Please bear with us as we try to meet increasing demand and improve the service we offer, regarding the booking of appointments.
If you require a home visit please call as early as you can, and visits will be triaged by the duty team for the morning. Any home visit requests that come in after 12 will be triaged for the afternoon, or for the following day.
NEW WEBSITE COMING SOON!
We are currently working on our new website which we hope you will all find much more user friendly and easier to navigate.
As of today, Lloyds Pharmacy no longer own the pharmacy that is attached to the surgery and are under new management.
The surgery had no business involvement with the running of Lloyds pharmacy, which at times has caused some frustration for our patients.
The same applies with the new ownership, however we are both very keen to ensure good working relationships and communication for the benefit of our patients.
Welcome to New Road Bromsgrove Pardeep and the opening of ‘Bromsgrove Pharmacy’! 😊
